“Florida Animal Friend, Inc.” Spay Neuter Program Over 70% of animals that come to the Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter each year, face an early death due to the lack of good homes and an over abundance of animals. However, thousands of puppies and kittens are born every year. If this continues there will never be enough homes for all of them. To stop your dog or cat from having puppies and kittens that you don’t want or can’t afford, Santa Rosa County has received a 1 (One) time grant from the “Florida Animal Friend, Inc” Driver licenses tag program, featured on our web site. If you meet the guidelines below you may be eligible. A CO-PAY OF $20 FOR DOGS AND $15 FOR CATS IS REQUIRED. This amount will be paid to the participating Veterinarian. The cost for any other/additional services provided by the veterinarian will be the responsibility of the pet owner. This program is for Santa Rosa County Citizens only.
