RED CROSS NEEDS YOU!

Thanks for your interest in helping us fill our Disaster Action Teams! We currently have a critical need for DAT volunteers in Santa Rosa County. DAT members provide a service vital to the immediate well being of local disaster victims. Disaster Action Teams (DAT) respond to single family home fires, or spearhead the Red Cross response to larger local disasters (such as wild fires or floods). Operating in two person teams, the DAT members ensure victims have lodging, food, clothing and other essential immediate needs met for the first few days following a disaster. They fill the gap until insurance, faith based and/or community groups; or family and friends can provide additional assistance. Brochure is on Page 7.
