The Santa Rosa County Board of Commissioners contracts with Waste Management of Florida and Waste Pro of Florida, Inc. to provide residential solid waste collection services for the south end of Santa Rosa County, generally in the unincorporated areas of the 32563 and 32566 zip codes. Waste Pro provides residential curbside collection in the 32563 zip code and Waste Management for residents in zip code 32566.

Residents not living in the 32563 and 32566 zip codes have the option to choose the hauler that offers the prices and services that best fit their needs. Haulers offering disposal services in areas not included in a franchise, set their own rates and offer services including curbside recycling, yard debris collection or bulk item pickup, but are not required to provide any additional services.
