Is there any hangar space available at Peter Prince Field?
The County
currently leases 73 hangars at the airport, and all are occupied at this time.
The Administrative Services Department keeps three waiting lists, one for those
requesting light twin end hangars, one for light twin T-hangars, and one for
special requests (i.e. a specific hangar).
·
Light
twin end hangars rent for $160.00 per month plus tax, and light twin T-hangars
are $150.00 per month plus tax.
·
Cabin
twin end hangars rent for $185.00 per month plus tax, and cabin twin T-hangars
rent for $175.00 per month plus tax.
·
Corporate
hangars rent for between $800.00 and $1,000.00 per month plus tax. The Lessee
must be the owner of a corporate aircraft in order to lease these hangars.
Upon
execution of a hangar lease agreement, the tenant must provide proof of
aircraft ownership and proof of liability insurance coverage no less than
$300,000.00 per aircraft. In addition, all hangars are subject to a bi-annual
inspection to be conducted by the County Administrative Services and Building
Inspections Departments.

What services does the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at Peter Prince Field
supply?
In
accordance with the Aircraft Management Services, Inc., fixed base operator
lease agreement, the authorized operations may include, but are not limited to,
the following activities:

Fuel
and oil sales
·
Air
frame and power plant repair
·
Aircraft
rental
·
Flight
training
·
New
aircraft sales, including sale of parts and accessories for aircraft
·
Used
aircraft sales, including sale of parts and accessories for aircraft
·
Avionics
and instrument repair services
·
Air
taxi operation
·
Specialized
operation and other aeronautical functions
·
Landing,
taking off, taxiing and towing, parking, loading and unloading, testing and
servicing the FBO’s and the FBO’s
customers’ aircraft in areas and locations as designated from time to time by
Santa Rosa County
·
Pilot
instruction and training
·
Rental/training
fleet of at least six (6) aircraft
·
Provision
of any other goods or services usually connected with a full service fixed base
operation, as approved by
