Public Distribution Policy and Fee Schedule

For Digital Data and Hardcopy Maps

Scope: To encourage the use of the Santa Rosa County’s Geographic Data. To provide geographic maps on the county’s website: http://www.santarosa.fl.gov as a means to make the data readily available to the citizens.

Projection: State plane NAD83 Feet (Lambert Conformal Conic)

Florida North Zone aka Zone 3576 aka FIPS Zone 903

Data formats: Arc/Info personal geodatabases

Arc view shape file .shp

Imagery formats, such as .tif .sid .jpeg

Other formats, will be available if feasible.

Standard media: 650 mb CD, 100, 250 mb zip diskettes, inkjet paper, county website.

General fees: To recover costs of staff labor, media, ink, and equipment.

Due upon pickup or before mailing. Large orders must be prepaid.

Paid by cash or check, payable to Santa Rosa County Commission.

Under special circumstances with a written agreement, fees can be waived or discounted.

Shipping fees: Normally shipped by U.S. Postal Service.

Fed Ex available upon request by extra fee or by providing Fed Ex number.

Standard request: Copies of existing standard county data and maps.

Requests processed as time permits, normally within 10 working days.

Complex Custom Maps delivery date to be estimated in the scope of work.

Requests: These requests are considered and processed if the quote of charges and scope of work is accepted by all parties and if GIS staff time is available.
