Early Literacy Stations

Children ages 2 – 8 are encouraged to visit any of the Santa Rosa County libraries and explore the new Early Literacy Stations. Early Literacy Stations are computers designed for young children that feature preloaded educational games and resources without Internet access. The stations contain programs including homework help, read aloud stories, and a large variety of games that teach numbers, letters, music, science, history, critical thinking skills, and so much more. They are colorful, kid-sized, and fun! These units were provided by a grant from the Florida Department of State’s Division of Library & Information Services.
