Pen Air FCU is the area’s largest, local Credit Union and is a 5-Star Superior Rated Credit Union for over 72 consecutive quarters with Bauer Financial Inc. – a leading national independent auditing firm.
Pen Air Federal Credit Union, a not-for-profit, financial cooperative is founded on the credit union principal of “People Helping People.” Pen Air FCU believes in giving back to the community it serves through sponsorships, contributions, and, most importantly, by encouraging volunteerism amongst its employees. Pen Air FCU realizes the importance and great need for hands-on community service to make the area we serve a better place for all. For this reason, Pen Air FCU has an Administrative Leave policy that allows employees to volunteer at least one hour a week serving in mentor roles, such as in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and at other qualified non-profit organizations.
