Bagdad Architectural Advisory Committee
Minutes of the November 25, 2003 Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. with the following members and staff present: Charles Cook, Chairman; Dr. Lewis, Committee Member; Jan Davis, Committee Member; Kacey Wagg, Transportation Planner and staff to the Committee; and Beckie Faulkenberry, Planning Director.

The Committee reviewed and approved the minutes of the November 4, 2003 meeting with one modification.

Mr. Lewis discussed the status of finding the original documents associated with the Bagdad survey. He will contact staff with information on how to access original Master Site Files used for National Register Designation.

The Committee made the following changes to the HD section of the Land Development Code:

• Changed the application time to 10 working days prior to the BHVAAB meeting
• Clarified that all development must be reviewed by the committee

The Committee reviewed construction materials standards for the Historic District of downtown Pensacola and determined appropriate standards for Bagdad. The discussed changes will be made to the Land Development Code and be presented to the committee for approval.

The next Committee meeting was set for December 18, 2003 at 8:30 a.m.
