Library Advisory Committee
The Library Advisory Committee met on the above date with the following members present: Martha Lyle, Michael Sandler, and Pat Rose. Jacqueline Wiscaver arrived at 4:40. Also present were the Library Director (Linda Hendrix) and Human Resources Director (DeVann Cook). Michael Sandler called the meeting to order at 4:08 p.m.
Mr. Sandler moved approval of the April 16, 2009 minutes and approved the agenda for the July 16, 2009 meeting.
Director’s Report
Linda Hendrix gave the Directors Report which was presented in a Power Point presentation (see attached.) Discussion was held regarding the options available to reduce staff hours to meet the reduction in funding for FY2010/2011 and Ms. Hendrix and Mr. Cook expressed the need for input from the Library Board and advised the Board that an additional meeting may need to be called prior to September to address the issue of library hours.

The next meeting is scheduled for October 15, 2009, at 4:00 p.m.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
