Closure Information

The listed bridges and any other county maintained bridges that are flooded, should not be crossed until public works inspections have been completed, after the water recedes. Motorist should always avoid crossing flooded streets and should never attempt to cross flooded bridges.

Current Road Closures

Date: 10/30/2015
  Pat Brown Road Closed
  Pat Brown Road, east of Munson Highway, will be closed at the bridge over Clear Creek between Beagle Trail and Wolfe Road for bridge replacement. The detour will be Wolfe Road. Road and Bridge hopes to re-open the road by December 15th, weather permitting.

  Boundary Line Road Closed
  Boundary Line Road in the Holt area will be closed October 26th between Deception Road and Deaton Bridge Road for road construction. Hope to re-open road on Friday October 30, 2015.

  San Juan Street Closed
  State DOT has closed San Juan Street at Avalon Boulevard.
Date: 09/05/2013
  Highway 90 Open with Hazards

Work to replace the Marquis Bayou Bridge on Highway 90 east of Milton is scheduled to begin September 9, 2013. A temporary metal bridge will be constructed south of the existing structure. Llane closures will be limited to between 9:00p.m. and 6:00a.m. Construction should be complete in the spring of 2015 weather permitting.

  Santa Monica Street Closed

Beginning on Wednesday, October 10th, Santa Monica Street west of Avalon Boulevard to east of N 30th Avenue will be closed for roadway construction. All traffic will be rerouted to Del Monte Street.

*** Update 10/1/15 The State DOT still has Santa Monica St closed at Avalon Blvd.
