Transportation planning is about providing a safe, cost effective, and functional transportation system for all residents of and vistors to Santa Rosa County that appropriately balances access and mobility needs.
Functions of Transportation Planning:
Provide public information and assistance
Administration and implementation of the comprehensive plan
Responsible for special projects
Provide representation on Regional Transportation Planning Organizations
Coordinate with the Florida Department of Transportation on transportation related decisions
Administration and implementation of transportation grants
