This is the first of what will be many regular updates to you about the Navarre Town Center Plan process.  We have been working diligently to create a web page and build an information distribution list to ensure that we can fully inform you along the way.  We will try to keep these updates short, informative and frequent.  Feel free to provide feedback along the way!

 

As we note below, the Working Group meetings will be scheduled for the last two weeks of April.  We hope that you enjoy the Easter weekend and are looking forward to rolling up your sleeves with us very soon!

NAVARRE TOWN CENTER PLAN UPDATE

 

Public Notification:  We have created an e-mail distribution list for the Navarre Town Center Plan with the intent to regularly distribute important information, both to the working group members, and to other interested residents.  This e-mail will serve as our test.  We wanted to send out a quick update to make sure we have the addresses entered correctly before we need to send out time-sensitive information.  Please let us know of your friends and neighbors who want to be added to the list. 

 

Web Site:  The website for the Navarre Town Center Plan is now on-line at the Planning Department webpage.  Just go to http://www.santarosa.fl.gov/zoning/index.html, and click on the “Navarre Town Center Plan” link under “Special Projects.”  We have posted maps that show existing land use, future land use, zoning, Navarre assets, wetlands and soils.   Next week we will be adding additional information about the project, including meeting dates for the working groups.

 

Working Group Meetings:  We are now scheduling the first working group meetings for the last two weeks in April. These meetings will be in the early evening. We should have those nailed down by early next week and will include that information in our next update.
