PUD and PBD Information
Important Information Regarding Development in PUD and PBD Zoning Districts
The following information regarding density and permitted uses applies to new development in PUD and PBD zoning districts:
Parcels zoned PUD may be developed as residential only, but can include some commercial designed to serve the residential development.
Parcels zoned PBD must include a mix of 70% residential and 30% commercial development.
Density for both zoning districts is established on a case by case basis based upon surrounding densities. Maximum density cannot be more than 150% of adjacent densities. Density will be calculated based upon the total acreage of the parcels to be developed.
If a rezoning is requested to PUD or PBD, a master plan must accompany the rezoning request.
