The Florida Occupant Protection Coalition (FOPC) identifies and prioritizes Florida’s most pressing occupant protection issues. The Coalition is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Occupant Protection Strategic Plan which serve as the blueprint for legislation, program, and funding strategies to maximize Florida’s ability to reduce unrestrained motor vehicle occupant crashes. The Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) is a statewide data-driven safety plan for all of Florida’s road users. The plan is the state’s five-year comprehensive safety plan for achieving Florida’s vision of zero traffic-related fatalities.
