Veterans Services

On Friday, January 1, 2021, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2021 was passed into law. Section 9109 of the NDAA adds Parkinsonism, Bladder Cancer, and Hypothyroidism to the “Diseases Associated with Exposure to Certain Herbicide Agents for which there is a presumption of service connect for Veterans who served in the Republic of Vietnam.”

This applies to all Vietnam Veterans including Blue Water Navy Vets. If you’ve been diagnosed with any of these conditions, please contact our office to schedule an appointment with a Veteran Service Officer to assist you in filing a Disability Claim.  You need to bring in your DD-214, and medical records with a diagnosis from a doctor.

Our Veterans Services offices have friendly staff to assist veterans and their families for any benefits they may be entitled to receive:

  • Initial claims for benefits (disability and pension)
  • Increases in service connected disability benefits
  • Death benefits
  • Education benefits
  • VA Guaranteed Home Loan application
  • Life insurance information
  • Property tax information for service connected disabled veterans
