Safe Communities
The Safe Communities America designation is awarded to communities that have demonstrated leadership in promoting safety, reducing injuries, and preparing their citizens for natural and man-made disasters.

SAFER Kids
The SAFER Kids Project was developed out of an already existing committee of concerned community members who started a "barricade" project in order to purchase, store and utilize barricades for all community events in the county.

Shoreline Users Resource Force (S.U.R.F.) Program
S.U.R.F. volunteers will be stationed on Navarre Beach to provide information on beach and water safety, coastal habitats, wildlife, clean-up response, beach conditions, hurricanes, heat safety, seafood safety, and the Navarre Beach "leave no trace" ordinance wildlife to beach visitors.
