Tax Assistance

AARP Tax-Aide

Volunteers from AARP Tax-Aide will be assisting with taxes at the Gulf Breeze, Milton, and Navarre libraries beginning the week of February 1. The AARP Tax-Aide program is the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance service, providing service to millions of low- and middle-income taxpayers, with special attention to those ages 60 and older.

Tax assistance is available at the following locations:

  • Gulf Breeze Library: Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. from February 2 - April 12.
  • Milton Library: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12 - 4:30 p.m. from February 1 - April 11. Appointments are required, and can be made on the AARP website, by phone (850-564-3584), or in person with an AARP volunteer.
  • Navarre Library: Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. from February 2 - April 15. No registration is required at the Navarre Library location. People will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who can't get help the day they come can schedule a future date with the AARP volunteers.

Library staff members DO NOT make appointments for AARP Tax-Aide, but can answer questions about how to make an appointment.
