Subordination Requirements

If you are a past recipient of funds and you are looking into refinancing your home, you will either need to pay back the assistance that was received if the refinance occurs before the lien expiration OR you may request a Subordination of our Mortgage.

In order to be considered for a subordination request, the following 4 items MUST be met before a request can be submitted:

• Must be a fixed interest rate lower than current interest rate.
• Must reduce current principle & interest monthly payment.
• No cash back at closing.
• Only refinancing what is left on the original mortgage, plus closing fees.

If the above items can be met, you will need to complete this Subordination Request Form and submit this form and all documentation listed on the form to WebEmail-Housing@santarosa.fl.gov. Please allow up to four (4) weeks to process.
