May the fur be with you! Join Santa Rosa County Animal Services, 4451 Pine Forest Road in Milton, for a Star Wars themed adopt-a-thon, Sat., May 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dress in your best space-themed costume and find your new furever friend! Adoption fees at the event will be $30 for pets which include spay and neuter services.
Hang out with Blue Wahoo’s mascot, Kazoo, and surprise Star Wars characters! Enter yourself and your pet in a costume contest or the pet/owner lookalike contest. Children's crafts will be offered as well as games to win prizes. A silent auction will benefit the Partners for Pets program which provide medical treatments for shelter animals. Meet first responders, explore a firetruck from Skyline Fire Rescue District and play with Sparky the Firedog from Harold Volunteer Fire District. Pet-themed novelty items as well as food and snow cones will be available for purchase.
