In the aftermath of the severe weather event on Apr. 20, Santa Rosa County contracted with a hauler to assist with removal of debris. Residents are asked to place debris generated from the April 20 storm on the county’s right of way by Tues., June 2. Debris placed on the right of way after June 2 will not be eligible for pickup. All collections are expected to be completed on or near June 10.
Residents are reminded that debris must be placed on the right of way and vegetative debris must be separated from construction debris. No furniture, white goods (appliances) or vehicles will be picked up. Pickup will be limited to storm-impacted areas determined by damage assessment teams. For questions, call 850-626-0191.
