Santa Rosa County is gathering public input regarding the county’s allocation of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding. Public participation is encouraged in a virtual stakeholder meeting to be held Friday, July 10, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. as part of the program planning process. Participation in this workshop will provide context for developing a framework to administer the available funding in a manner that is effective, efficient and compliant with all state and federal requirements.

Community insight is vital to the development of CARES Act programs aimed to provide economic assistance for workers and families, small businesses, and non-profit agencies that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. An online survey is still active for public input. Comments or questions can be submitted to caresact@santarosa.fl.gov or Jared Lowe in the Grants and Special Programs office, 850-981-2017.
