The annual meeting of the flood mitigation plan task force will be held Thurs., Nov. 19, at 1:30 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. The purpose of the meeting is to review the multi-jurisdictional flood mitigation plan. Jurisdictions include Santa Rosa County, the cities of Milton and Gulf Breeze, and the town of Jay.
An annual update of the local mitigation strategy and flood mitigation plan review will be presented at the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners regular meeting on Thurs., Dec. 10, at 9 a.m. at the commission boardroom, 6495 Caroline St. in Milton. The presentation will address completed and on-going mitigation projects as well as the status of the community rating system and flood insurance rate maps.
