All adoptions and fosters, including those from the rescue case, will transition back to the animal shelter from the Agriplex after 3 p.m. today, Fri., Feb. 25. There will be no adoption/foster taking place at the Agriplex on Sat., Feb. 26 as previously planned. Around six dogs from this case remain available for adoption along with many more at the shelter. Adoption/foster will still be available until 3 p.m. today, Fri., Feb. 25 at the Agriplex, 8604 Bobby Brown Road in East Milton.
"Although we are now transitioning back to the animal shelter, we still have 99 dogs in our care," said Dr. Megan Arevalo, shelter veterinarian. "We remain at capacity so we still want to encourage the public to come out to the shelter and adopt or foster a dog. We have had an amazing amount of community support this week and we would like to keep that momentum going."
Adoption and foster is still available at the animal shelter, 4451 Pine Forest Road in Milton, during the following hours, appointment required:
11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday
