Information provided by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
Drivers will encounter a temporary road closure at Settlers Colony Boulevard beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 31 through 5 p.m. Thursday, June 30. This temporary closure will allow crews to install a new drainage structure. Motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians can access Settlers Colony Boulevard via Venetian Way and Coronado Drive. Detour signs will be in place to guide travelers through the detour route. Residents may experience noise, vibrations, and dust during daytime hours as part of this drainage improvement effort.
All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers and residents are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone, watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway, and ensure safety by maintaining a safe distance from the work zone.
