[ARCHIVED] SRCAS Foster Open House and ice cream social Fri., June 24, 5-7 p.m.

Santa Rosa County Animal Services (SRCAS) will host a Foster Open House from 5-7 p.m. on Fri., June 24 at the shelter, 4451 Pine Forest Road in Milton, as part of a nationwide National Foster Pet Open House event. Current fosters and those interested in learning how to foster with the shelter are welcome to attend for a meet-and-greet party for two-and four-legged friends.

The event will include information on how to foster with SRCAS and there will also be giveaways for attendees/new foster parents and an ice cream social for the shelter dogs and public to enjoy.

SRCAS is dedicated to providing a positive outcome for all of the animals in their care. Since 2019, they have changed their approach to animal sheltering to better serve the community and pets. Through this transformation, the shelter has earned no-kill shelter status and continues to promote positive change through programs such as fostering.
