Santa Rosa County Environmental Resources is hosting two focus groups on Thur., Mar. 16 to discuss perceptions of local flooding. The first focus group will be held at 10 a.m. at the Santa Rosa County Visitor Information Center, 8543 Navarre Pkwy in Navarre. The second focus group will be held at 6 p.m. at Gulf Breeze Community Center, room #209, 800 Shoreline Drive in Gulf Breeze.
The focus groups will participate in the following activities
- Initial focus group discussion
- Presentation on flood risk & solutions including Q&A
- Follow-up focus group discussion
The focus groups will discuss the development of a survey that will determine perceptions of current/future flood risk, support for a variety of flood adaptation strategies and trends. For more information, contact Chris Verlinde at 850-777-7884.
