Phase I of Camden Drive drainage project complete
Construction for the Camden Drive Outfall Project Phase I in the Holley by the Sea subdivision in Navarre is now complete. The project improved stormwater conveyance and water quality of adjacent wetlands, and included paving Camden Dr. from Indian St. to Kempton St. and upgrading of existing drainage culverts. Construction of the Camden Drive Phase II drainage improvements projects is planned for 2020.
“I’m pleased to see this project come to completion; it is a good start to the lengthy and costly process of improving our infrastructure,” said District 4 Commissioner Dave Piech. "Utilizing local funds and grants, we are making progress toward improving infrastructure and quality of life for Santa Rosa County residents.”
The $1.1 million project was funded in part by a Florida Statewide Surface Water Restoration Program grant. The project was designed by Baskerville-Donovan, Inc. and construction was undertaken by Pensacola contractor Site & Utility LLC.For additional information regarding this project, contact Michael Schmidt
